How To *Cure* A Phobia With Past Life Regression
The Emotional Impact Is Holding You Back
The reason phobias *suck the life right out of you* is that they produce an emotional impact that’s hard to shed. You’ve tried for years and maybe even given up. Well, there is hope…just keep reading.
Does this strike a chord?
**You struggle up five flights of stairs to avoid feeling that elephant sitting on your chest in the elevator…
**Spiders and snakes make your brain freeze, your heart pound and you can’t get away fast enough…(but you can’t seem to move).
**If you get on that plane you just know you’re going to pass out, get sick or…OMG…die!
**And, what about public functions? People will be looking at you, judging you and you just might embarrass yourself with a full-blown panic attack!
I could give you the therapy-based definition of a phobia, but you’re probably more interested in how your phobia makes you feel.
For most people, the feeling is: A fear so great that it stops you dead in your tracks. It sets off a cluster of unpleasant physical symptoms accompanied by intrusive thoughts of impending doom!
And…you want to avoid those feelings like the plague. Am I right?
So…you Know Your Fears Are Irrational, But You Can’t Stop Them!
There’s no cure for irrational thinking. I mean, look…
You’ve gone to therapy…
Learned all the “anxiety reducing” tricks…
Figured out the exact time and place that your fear took hold (darn that camping trip when the snake got into your sleeping bag).
Maybe you haven’t got the faintest idea where your panic attacks come from!
Bottom line is…all your therapy tools and insights haven’t changed a thing…your phobia is still there.
That’s where Past Life Regression (PLR) comes in.
I can’t officially call it “magic”, but…it’s so good at releasing fears and phobias, that it seems a lot like it!
One of the biggest drawbacks with traditional therapy is that you need to look at, talk about and process the trauma that set your phobia into motion. And, if you talk about it long enough, you could become desensitized to the point where you reduce your symptoms of panic and anxiety.
There’s a fine balance here: If you talk about it too much, you stay rooted in the fear. You keep reinforcing the vision of the trauma in your mind. Do most people want to repeat all the details of a traumatic experience?
Uh…No! They want to forget it!
Here’s why it’s easier with PLR:
**In a highly relaxed and focused state, you are lead back to the time when your phobia (by name or feeling) first became a problem.
**You report what you are seeing, hearing or sensing.
**The PLR therapist moves you through different events in that lifetime and you describe what’s happening, whom you are with and what feelings you have about those people and events.
**Then, you are moved quickly past your death in that lifetime and, once at peace… in spirit form, you are able to review everything that happened, with ease.
**You are aware of the lessons you learned.
**The connection with your current situation is apparent.
**If you have any unfinished business or need to say something to anyone in that lifetime, (including your previous self), you are guided to do that. Then, you are gently brought back to the here and now.
How does the “cure” happen?
Within a few weeks after the regression, the phobia seems to just disappear! (Like magic?) And, it usually comes as a surprise to the client. Some clients even forget they had the phobia in the first place!
It’s unclear exactly how it works, although many PLR therapists have their own theories.
While viewing a “Past Life” you are the one who discovers the root cause, gains pertinent insight and makes any cognitive shifts because of what you view. This is different from traditional therapy where the therapist may offer an interpretation of what might be going on, based on what you talk about.
Phobias tend to be connected to at least 3 or more past lives. Then, something in your current life acts as a trigger to activate it. You may or may not know what that was.
Once you become aware of what happened in your previous life/lives, you clear the emotional charge that caused the phobia.
Your “higher self” or “upper mind” (your soul energy that retains collective knowledge when you’re not in physical form), will tell you how many lives you had connected with a particular phobia and how many of those you need to review.
So, here’s the bottom line: When you release the strong emotions connected with the fear or phobia, you don’t continue to react the way you did in the past.
And…releasing debilitating symptoms that hold you back from fully enjoying your life? I’d call that about as close to a *cure* as you can get.
Regardless of how it works, it does work. And it works quickly.
